Our Renewable Energy Team was a proud sponsor of the Irish Wind Farmers’ Association Annual Workshop. The workshop took place on the 17th May in The Heritage Killenard Hotel, Co. Laois, and was attended by a number of key players in the Irish Wind Energy sector. The workshop, which focused on current issues affecting the wind industry in Ireland as well as the proposed significant changes to wind energy including the introduction of the new Integrated Single Electricity Market (‘I-SEM’) and Renewable Electricity Support Scheme (‘RESS’), was a huge success, and McDowell Purcell was delighted to be a part of it.
