Our team of specialist lawyers provide advice on all aspects of insolvency including contentious, non-contentious and cross border insolvency law matters.
We tackle complex matters in an effective, cost efficient manner and act for many high profile insolvency practitioners, financial and other stakeholders in relation to examinerships, receiverships, liquidations, corporate insolvency, personal insolvency and bankruptcy.
The Department also acts on behalf of the principal lending institutions in Ireland in relation to the appointment of receivers, debt and asset recovery. We advise on the perfection and enforcement of security and where necessary, prepare strategies to protect our institutional clients’ interests.
Our clients also include creditors, debtors, companies and company directors facing financial difficulties, with whom we work to find practical and effective solutions.
The Department regularly works in multi-disciplinary teams with other practice areas of the firm, including the Commercial, Commercial Property, Banking and Finance, Employment and Benefits and Pension Departments. We also work closely with specialist accountancy firms to ensure our clients are receiving comprehensive and practical advice.
Our lawyers are members of both the Irish Society of Insolvency Practitioners and INSOL Europe, the professional association for European restructuring and insolvency specialists.
