As the Head of the firm’s Insolvency and Restructuring Department, Mark has acted in many high profile liquidations, receiverships and examinerships of recent years.

In addition, Mark advises senior bankers in many of the lending institutions in Ireland and is involved in multiple High Court, Commercial Court and Supreme Court proceedings against defaulting borrowers, personal guarantors and syndicated property companies and partnerships.

Mark also has considerable experience in commercial litigation generally, dealing with many areas, from shareholder and partnership breakdown to various forms of contractual and tortious disputes.

As an experienced public speaker, Mark lectures in the Law Society of Ireland and in Chartered Accountants Ireland on insolvency law. He is a founding member of ISIP (the Irish Society of Insolvency Practitioners), sits on the Technical Committee and was recently elected to the Council. He is also an active member of Insol Europe and has contributed to many publications in journals, including the Irish Times and Accountancy Ireland.
